Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product development for projects for both our portfolio companies and key partners. This role will be crucial in shaping and executing product roadmaps for portfolio companies, with a particular focus on Cornea, our wildfire analytics platform – guiding it through discovery and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position will play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic vision for our partner, the Secunda Family Foundation, and furthering its goals to leverage technology for social impact, specifically in building out initiatives first started with Empire AI, our keystone Public AI initiative, and driving the ideation and development of forward-thinking digital philanthropic projects.

The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial, mission-driven leader who excels in fast-paced, dynamic, and unstructured environments. You will be highly tech-savvy, with a passion for innovation and a relentless focus on delivery and speed. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and turning ideas into tangible products. You will collaborate closely with Foundation leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to ideate, structure, develop, and launch cutting-edge products that drive meaningful social change and advance technology for public good.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead product development for key portfolio projects, specifically Cornea, overseeing all phases from ideation and discovery to delivery, ensuring products achieve product-market fit, scalability, performance, and user-friendliness.

  • Advance Public AI and digital philanthropic project developments, driving innovation and creating impactful solutions for the public good, aligned with the foundation’s mission.

  • Drive product and customer discovery, iterating quickly to take risks and validate assumptions.

  • Become an expert on relevant customer sets, understanding pain points, desires, and the best ways to solve problems.

  • Drive product growth through strategic marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, and other campaigns to increase visibility and traffic for consumer-facing products.

  • Collaborate with Foundation leadership, external partners, and cross-functional teams (design, sales, and stakeholders) to shape and align the product vision, roadmap, and strategic goals.

  • Prioritize and manage product delivery, utilizing agile methodologies to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure timelines are met.

  • Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends and emerging technologies (such as AI and quantum sensing), ensuring class-leading product development.

  • Develop the vision, roadmap, and OKRs in close collaboration with leadership and the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management with a strong track record of success in driving product vision, development, delivery, and growth.

  • Proven experience in product and customer discovery, with a structured approach to managing risks (usability, technical feasibility, customer value, and business viability).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead ideation processes, creating new product opportunities and solutions with an entrepreneurial approach.

  • Expertise in consumer products with a focus on growth, particularly in SEO, SEM, and social media engagement strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver products on time and within budget, ensuring they meet KPIs and are high-performing.

  • Technical expertise: Comfortable with SQL, coding, A/B testing, data analytics, and ability to ramp up on relevant emerging technologies as needed.

  • Strong communication skills: Able to clearly articulate product vision, roadmaps, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success in taking products and projects from ideation to MVP and then to product-market fit.

  • Experience and familiarity with foundational AI technologies and advanced computing.

  • Experience with remote sensing technologies (e.g., satellites-derived) and an understanding of emerging trends in geospatial data, predictive analytics, and other related fields.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Experience in building products or businesses from the ground up, including navigating ambiguity, handling multiple roles, and driving growth in dynamic, unstructured environments.
